July 2 –  At least 17 passengers injured in a road mishap at Sinamangal in Kathmandu this morning.

The accident took place when a Koteswor-bound microbus (Ba 5 Kha 5100) from Gaushala collided a bus (Ba 1 Ja 9766) coming from opposite direction.

Two among the injured are in critical condition, informed Rabiraj Poudel, Superintendant of Police and Spokesperson of Metropolitan Traffic Police Division.

The injured are receiving treatment at Kathmandu Medical College in Sinamangal. Among the injured are 13 male and four female.

Investigation into the incident is underway after taking both the vehicles under control, according to the division.
