Reality far behind

The edge of water flowing ahead

Thrashing the silent stone

The stone stands without words

Letting water to pass ahead

Viewers perceive

The tough war between the water and the stone

Urged the scenery as the reality

Though, the reality is far behind

Misguided the reality

A tagline – a friend and a foe

Concealed the reality by the reality

Many assumptions spread like the arson

Covering the limelight

Said, the freedom of water being violated by the stone

The lifeline of the stone hampered

Hatred to the stone became tensed

Deep pity showered to the water

While lawless law destined to the stone

Nabin Chitrakar

( The poem originally written in Nepalbhasha is translated to English by Sylvia Razopadhyay.)
