June 6 – The bathing ritual (Nhawan) of Sithi Kumar observed this evening in Jaisi Degal, Kathmandu. The process was followed after the special rituals amid large participation of locals and worshipers.

The holy Panchamrit was poured down from the head of the wooden idol of Sithi Kumar, belonging to the Lichhivi period, during the Nhawan process. The ritual is observed every year on the third day of Tachhalatho, the month based on Nepalsambat.

The Jatra of Sithi Kumar will be observed on Sithi Nakha, which falls this year on Saturday.
